[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Luck has been reverted.
Your edit here to Luck was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://richardwiseman.files.wordpress.com/2011/09/the_luck_factor.pdf) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. [edit]Hi AlexZ1971! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
Many of your recent edits are cause for concern
[edit]Hi Alex, many of your recent edits are cause for concern. In particular, they appear to be removing sourced content without explanation or with insufficent or simply incorrect explanations in the edit sumamries. For example:
- In this edit to Gibraltar you removed paragraphs of content with the edit summary "removal of unsupported material" but the content was indeed sourced to journal articles and a history book; the edit was reverted.
- In this edit to Ashkenazi Jews you made a number of unsourced fact changes and removed content sourced to a book published by Harvard University Press among other changes, with no edit summary; the edit was reverted.
- In this edit to Ashkenaz you blanked all the content out of the article and replaced the entire article with the unsourced "Askenaz - a Jew of European origin"; the edit was reverted as vandalism.
- And as noted above, you added an inappropriate source, a WordPress blog, to Luck; the edit was reverted by XLinkBot.
I'm not saying the articles you edited were perfect when you started editing them but the edits you made were not constructive and not well explained. Could you please use the article Talk pages and good, accurate edit summaries to support and explain what you are doing. Thanks. Zad68
