Information icon Please do not write or add to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Editing ITECH1001 Alex

[edit]

Hello AlexAbdullahGGC,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Editing ITECH1001 Alex for deletion, because it seems to be a test. Did you know that the Wikipedia Sandbox is available for testing out edits?

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Wittylama 12:23, 24 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Editing ITECH1001 Alex, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Flat Out let's discuss it 12:34, 24 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your article

[edit]

It may be for a class assignment, but your classwork and teacher do not override our rules and procedures. If you create an article for any reason, it must comply with our requirements that the subject must be notable (in this case WP:BIO), and it must be referenced with reliable independent sources to prove the notability WP:RS. I'm afraid you don't meet the requirement for notability yet. If your teacher has really asked you to post this, please ask him or her to contact me on my user talk page. If you have a subject that passes our notability standard, you may write on that. If you go on posting material that is unsuitable, you could get blocked from editing. This also applies to you removing speedy deletion tags. You are not allowed to remove them from your articles. Peridon (talk) 12:53, 24 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/AlexAbdullahGGC. Thank you. I've posted at the SPI that this is more than likely a college project. If it is, you needn't worry about it for now. Putting your work on your userpage is a good idea - things are safer in user space than out in the main body of the encyclopaedia, and you get most of the editing experience in user space anyway. Any problems, do ask. Peridon (talk) 16:53, 24 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, I have withdrawn the report. Flat Out let's discuss it 02:40, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
