Prof Garcia's Comments

@Alejuly98: You have done an EXCEPTIONAL job here, Alexandria! Wow! I am so impressed! You are off to a tremendous start - please keep up the great work. I saw what you added to the talk page of the article as well, and that was very impressive. =) One person you HAVE to talk about on the utterances is Bahktin. His stuff is a bit dense, but you should take a look at who has written about him. I see that there is some stuff about Bahktin already on the page, but you can expand it or improve it if you wish. But well done overall. I look forward to what you produce in the future! Alfgarciamora (talk) 13:41, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Week 6: Wow Alexandria, you continue to impress me here! Keep up the great work =) One thing that I highly recommend is that you put your citations in to your summaries in your sandbox so that you don't forget where you got this information from. Remember that you final article will need a ton of citations! Alfgarciamora (talk) 12:46, 12 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Alejuly98: Great job with your first moves to the mainspace! The page is looking exceptional, Alexandria. Well done. =) As you continue moving stuff to the main page, just work on making sure it is all formatted correctly and that the language is as encyclopedic as possible. I think you've done enough research for now: all you have to do is move the stuff over and organize it. So proud of you! Alfgarciamora (talk) 20:24, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Alexandria, its me. One, thanks for the feedback on my sandbox. I really appreciate it. Two, I do like the organization of notes you have on your sandbox. What i think you should add on this article, is perhaps how non-verbal communication ties in with utterance, since they are similar in a way. Does the act of utterance promote the act of non-verbal communication? Do they relate in any way? Non-verbal communication is also a "spoken language" but through human body language. This could maybe tie into the thought of talking about body language and how body language is demonstrated when the act of utterance is being displayed. Lastly maybe find some societies that use utterance more than usual? You could maybe talk about how (Location) has a suprising number of people who communicate that way, compared to another location nearby. Tall kidd (talk) 03:04, 19 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
