Speedy deletion nomination of Brogeria
[edit]Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Brogeria, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to User talk:LadyofShalott has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Brogeria
[edit]The reason why I nominated your page about Brogeria was two-fold. (Note I was not the one who actually deleted it though, that was done by a reviewing administrator) 1) It read as if it was an actual (read, not micronation) country; and 2) you failed to provide any credible, independent, reliable sources. If the micronation had only recently been founded it is highly unlikely that it will pass WP:GNG.
While some micronations are notable for wikipedia articles, not all are, and those that are have been covered, in depth, by reliable, independent sources, such as newspapers, or Lonely Planet's guide to micronations. If you plan to recreate it, make sure you have these sources, read WP:GNG well and make sure that you clearly demonstrate notability, and have a look at the micronation articles for those listed under List of micronations, and model your entry after one of those. Additionally, I'd suggest you create your page as a test page first (see Wikipedia:User pages) and contact the micronation project (WP:MICRONATION) for advice on how to improve the page.
