User talk:Alanhtripp
Welcome to Wikipedia. We hope you like it here and decide to stay. WRT Alan Tripp, if you are actually Alan Tripp, pelase see Wikipedia policy on autobiographies and follow those policies when editing your article. We welcome your additions to the Wikipedia, but I also want to remind you that all information must be sourced (sometimes an issue when a user edits an article about himself). Finally, if you really are Alan Tripp, I would like to mention that I did work for SCORE! and enjoyed my experiences there. ::High five:: I will be editing the article Alan Tripp to conform to Wikipedia style sometime this evening. If you have any questions about anything at all, please comment on my talk page. Thanks!-Scm83x 02:20, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
- I have made some edits to the Alan Tripp article. Here are some things I was wondering about, or that you could really help with:
- When were you born? Add it to the article after your name like this Alan Tripp (born January 1, 1900)
- If you could upload a picture of yourself, that would be fantastic. You may be interested to know that Roger Ebert was active for a time as User:Rebert and edited his own article, adding numerous otherwise unknown facts about himself. In addition, he uploaded this picture of himself for use on the Wikipedia. I think it would be great if you could do the same! If you need any help with this, just let me know.
- What does the H. stand for? If you want to add it to the article, that'd be fantastic.
- You wrote 2000 as the founding date for InsideTrack, but your website says 1999. Which is correct?
- Would you say that InsideTrack is a consultancy company? I'm just trying to get a better idea for myself so that I can better write the article. It sounds like you work primarily with the colleges to improve their grad rates, etc. What would be the best term?
- Thanks so much for joining the Wiki, again. I hope to hear from you soon. -Scm83x 10:09, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Alanhtripp! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot notifying you on behalf of the the unreferenced biographies team that 1 of the articles that you created is currently tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 157 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
