[edit]Hello. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person (Lee Wallace), but that you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Prof. Mc (talk) 17:07, 20 June 2016 (UTC)

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Rob Kiernan, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. RA0808 talkcontribs 00:03, 30 June 2016 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Rob Kiernan with this edit, you may be blocked from editing. RA0808 talkcontribs 00:03, 30 June 2016 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Rob Kiernan with this edit. RA0808 talkcontribs 00:06, 30 June 2016 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Rob Kiernan. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Jim1138 (talk) 00:07, 30 June 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Your recent editing history at Rangers F.C. shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Why are you continuing to insist that Rob Kiernan is English? He represented Ireland. It would be like designating James McCarthy or Aiden McGeady as Scottish. Stop reverting or you will be blocked again. Jmorrison230582 (talk) 06:02, 3 July 2016 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for persistent disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page:{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Widr (talk) 18:47, 7 July 2016 (UTC)Alanhopes (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
User:Jmorrison230582 was being disruptive by edit warring in spite of the fact my edits were correct. A week long ban is completely absurd just because another user 'disagrees' with me, even though my edits were factually correct. The fact that he reported me instead of ever discussing the matter shows a level of pettiness and a disruptive attitude.
Decline reason:
Being correct with your edits, even if true, is not a valid excuse for edit-warring. You are welcome to request another unblock, but note you must address your edit warring, not the correctness of your edits. Yamla (talk) 19:39, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- That is simply untrue. I have initiated discussion twice on this page, but you did not respond to either comment. You instead decided to continue edit warring. Multiple editors disagree with your interpretation and have reverted your edit. WP:CONSENSUS applies. Jmorrison230582 (talk) 19:16, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
Again, why are you continuing to insist that Rob Kiernan should be designated as English? He represented Ireland in international play; he has never represented England. He also publicly said when he signed for Rangers that he hoped to be picked for the Republic of Ireland full squad [1]. Jmorrison230582 (talk) 06:56, 15 July 2016 (UTC)

Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Rob Kiernan.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Player has played for the Republic of Ireland, so it is incorrect to described him as English. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:03, 15 July 2016 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Rob Kiernan. Per above. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:42, 15 July 2016 (UTC)
This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Rob Kiernan, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Per above, again Mattythewhite (talk) 10:23, 19 July 2016 (UTC)

Please stop changing Scott McTominay's nationality in the Manchester United F.C. squad list. He's never played for Scotland at any level and he was born in England.
