Thanks, I wrote to Vsmith to see if he can sort this out.
I am new editing in Wikipedia, and I made a mistake when I first created the username "Alan kafka". Then I mistakenly edited using both usernames.
I hope this can be sorted out.

Two usernames?
[edit]Hi Alan,
You appear to be editing as User:Alan kafka and User:Alan Kafka, was this a mistake? If so, you need to get an admin (not me - perhaps User:Vsmith) to sort this out for you, so that the two accounts can be merged. Mikenorton (talk) 23:57, 9 January 2011 (UTC)
- Please see Wikipedia:Username#Changing_your_username as to formally change names requires bureaucrat status. I would recommend that you simply stop using one username and stick with your preferred one (presumably the capitalized one) and just cease using the other. I would strongly recommend that you avoid using both on the same article as that can cause confusion by other users and problems for you. I would also recommend that you create a user page for your preferred username and note the existence of the other. If you decide to have the accounts formally merged see Wikipedia:Changing username and follow the directions there. Vsmith (talk) 00:36, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
