I requested a change of username a few days ago as I don't want my real name to be public. I was told that I would get an email the next day but it didn't happen for some reason. Please change my username to {Anonymous user}.
- If Special:GlobalRenameRequest did not work for some reason, you may make a request at WP:CHUS. You probably will need to have a more individualistic name than "Anonymous user", either just adding something to that, or using an alias of some kind. 331dot (talk) 10:24, 18 October 2019 (UTC)
Priyanka Reddy rape and murder moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Priyanka Reddy rape and murder, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. [edit]A page you created has been nominated for deletion as an attack page, according to section G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
Do not create pages that attack, threaten, or disparage their subject or any other entity. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia, and users who create or add such material may be blocked from editing. Fram (talk) 13:24, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Fram The page was a report about a series of recent murders, and was not meant to threaten anyone. Alan Zheimer (talk) 13:37, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
- Please see WP:SUSPECT. Fram (talk) 13:39, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Fram It wasn't a biography of a living person; it was a report about a series of murders. Alan Zheimer (talk) 13:42, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Fram I'll rewrite the page without mentioning the names of the people arrested. Will that be fine? Alan Zheimer (talk) 13:45, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
- Even then, all you have is a WP:NOTNEWS event of a potential crime (we shouldn't even call it a murder without a conviction). Wikipedia is very conservative when it comes to reporting on such things. The current version of the page will have to be deleted in any case. Fram (talk) 13:51, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
- Please take a look at Koodathayi cyanide murders to which I also contributed. This is a recent news report on the case: https://www.onmanorama.com/news/kerala/2023/02/05/koodathayi-foresnsic-probe-cyanide-absent.html
- How was my page different from this one? Alan Zheimer (talk) 14:26, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
- If no one has been convicted of murder yet, it should not be called a murder. Murder of George Floyd was not called such until the conviction of those involved. 331dot (talk) 16:44, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
- I've renamed that article to put "killings" instead of "murders". 331dot (talk) 16:51, 20 October 2023 (UTC)

Thanks for your contributions to Raj Premi. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Warm Regards, Miminity (Talk?) (me contribs) 12:02, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
