I owe you an apology. Not for deleting Alan Scott Kaufman, but for not leaving you a not about why. I am sorry, I really should have done that.
The reason I deleted the page was that, in my opinion, it meet the criteria on Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion. Specifically, number 7 under the section on Aricles: Unremarkable people or groups/Vanity Pages. The article did not "assert the importance or significance of its subject". Neither being a writer for, nor being an assistant editor for the Land Trust Counselor establishes importance. Nor does writing articles for internet websites...perhaps unless those websites are quite notable themselves. The fact that it appears that this is a vanity article (i.e., you writing about yourself) only reinforces the decision for speedy deletion.
I realize that this is a judgment call on my part. If you want, I will restore the deleted page, and instead nominate it for deletion according to the Wikipeia Deletion Policy. This will allow more people to offer their opinions (vote), and allow you to present arguments for keeping it.
