Hi, Alain10.

Could you please help me to restore this quote in french?:

I know enough french as to understand the meaning of the quote (i.e., that there is no precedent of collaboration of international islamists with non-muslims), but not enough as to restore the first words, garbled by the PDF format. There were non-muslims involved in the 2004 Madrid train attacks.

It is important, Alain10, because we still do not know who commited the attacks (and those who claim that the case is closed are misinformed or lying). This quote is just another stepping stone in the way to know the truth.

FYI

Grand Ayatollah Khamenei was very much against Israel's existence. However, it recent times he has been somewhat silent. He has proclaimed,

“ This cancerous tumor of a state [Israel must] be removed from the region. ”

this is threatening. However, this is not a direct threat to attack. Theoretically you can always argue that you wish to terminate the state, not its population (after all, history is full of states that have been created or that have disappeared).

Personally I tend to think that they would never attack because it would be suicidal, since retaliations would be huge and Israel (not to mention the US) could easily "wipe Iran off the map" with their nuclear weapons. However, if I were living in Israel I would probably have a less relaxed view. Alain10 13:00, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

I clearly see you tried a lot to keep it neutral (some thing a user like Patchouli is basically unable to do). I just wanted to tell you my feeling as a very ordinary Iranian. Global warming

Hi Alain, I was reading the article on Peak Oil - which is excellent and followed the link to global warming and was very surprised that that article did not refer to peak oil even in passing.

I've added a section with some basic facts effectively inviting readers of global warming to visit peak oil to find out more. I don't know why some of the global warming evangelists are being so upetty about it, but they are giving me hassle. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

I left the same message on their page too. Revert warring in always discouraged on wikipedia and it takes two to war! Please find another way to resolve this dispute - such as fo instance engaging in discussion on the talk page as the other user has already started. Incidentally vandalism (see WP:VAND) is a bad faith edit, and I would hesitate to describe the other person's edits as bad faith, even if they are against policy. The person responsible for this edit war is Gerash77. It is very simple: the link to Iran international crisis was there since 24 December 2006 and it wasn't an issue for anybody. Then suddenly, a person, Gerash77, decides to get rid of it without any explanation. He is the guy violating all wiki etiquette. Your intervention is not helpful.
