Request reason:

Hello reviewing admin(s),

I'm requesting an unblock via WP:SO. During these six months, I made sure that I do not violate WP:SOCK and WP:EVADE. The reason for my unblock request is as follows -

1. I truly understand that the creation of Aabharan during my suspension was unacceptable per the guidelines, but again, my intentios weren't harmful towards editing Wikipedia. It's just I could not resist myself from editing. Because I enjoy editing and I really wanna be here for the rest of my life :)

2. I'm truly ashamed for my actions of logged-out editing. So whatever I've done here and at SC Bengaluru and SC de Goa, I firmly assure you that it would never happen again in the future, even by mistake.

3. On top of all of these, I understand Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and I'm sincerely committed to adhering to them in the future.

I can't express in words how eagerly and anxiously have I waited for this day. I know I've lost my credibility too much but I guarantee you that this was my last mistake. I genuinely enjoy my time here. So please! For the one last time, let me be here... – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 16:20, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

At this point I think you're more likely to successfully appeal this block if you start fresh. See my comment below. asilvering (talk) 02:33, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

– 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 16:20, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No CU evidence of recent block evasion. That's good, though it's hard to be sure in this case. However, you have four separate instances of sockpuppetry. You aren't quite considered banned by the community but I think you need to better address your years of abuse. --Yamla (talk) 16:25, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I beg your pardon but I quite did not get you. It would be helpful if you'll elaborate 'adress my years of abuse.' – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 16:29, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Yamla: I'm assuming your question is 'for how long I have violated WP:SOCK.' Well I don't know was it months long or years long, as I was not aware of it back then when I was using 1st 3 of them. And I have already suffered the punishment for that mistake by being temporarily blocked once. And the latest was Aabharan, which you probably blocked within two or three days.
I have missed a lot of events such as 2023 AFC Asian Cup, 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification, UEFA Euro 2024 and 2024 Copa América. Now I do not want to miss a single one of upcoming events.
Also, I'm working on several new articles about Indian private aerospace startups.
And lastly, I would like to recall that if you want a concrete assurance from me then you have it, because this time or any other time, I'm not gonna repeat these silly mistakes. Please grant me that final chance, because I certainly want to be here and improve the encyclopedia as much as I can. I give you all my words.
I had a hectic day at work and I'm heading to bed. It's 23:05 here in India. So goodnight and best regards! – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 17:36, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Yamla: Last night I forgot about my very 1st ID (SirSavageOfficial). It was supposed to be my main account but somehow I lost access and since then I never used it. Speaking of that, I never really did anything that falls under WP:SOCK with that perticular ID. You may go through its edit history to confirm the same.
Thanks! – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 01:30, 19 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Reviewing admin(s),
I'd like to recall that I'm no longer involved in any act of WP:SOCK. This is and always will be my only account operating at Wikipedia. It's a humble request to unblock me to the earliest.
If there is anything else you would like to ask then go for it!
Thanks and regards! – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 08:51, 19 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I will not be reviewing your unblock request. Hopefully someone else will review it in due time. --Yamla (talk) 15:46, 19 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Yamla: Oh, alright! Thanks for your time though. Regards! – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 05:12, 20 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Respected administrators,

It's been more than a week and the 'unblock request' is still pending... Pardon me for asking but is there any specific reason for the delay? Please write me back.

Thank you! – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 03:35, 27 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: @Yamla: Sorry to bother you but it seems like no one is going to review my unblock request in 'due time you were talking about'. To be honest here, I don't know exactly how it works, so apologies.

Therefore I am sincerely asking you to make a consensus with the reviewing administrator on my return. Either positive or negetive, I'll happily accept it and see what's next...

Thank you and regards! – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 10:55, 30 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No. Lots of people have been waiting much longer than you. There's no reviewing administrator assigned, that's not how things work. I see no reason to expedite this request, given your history of abuse. If your request has not convinced anyone to take action, that's your fault; substantially reword your request. Please don't ping me again. --Yamla (talk) 11:21, 30 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
With all due respect, I never said that I have been waiting longer than others. Perhaps you read the comments in a hurry... And I think I have definitely made mistakes may be blunders, but not such that I have started proving the Earth to be Mars. Whatever I have done was bound to happen, sooner or later. I am talking about the 2nd block (just to be very clear).
If no one is feeling comfortable (with my return) or whatsoever, then it is completely okay. Because for the time being, this is all I had to offer.
And lastly, I have no interest in pinging you. The previous one would be the last, very last (no disrespect, raw fact)... – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 16:52, 30 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It was not an arrogant reply, just a raw one, so pardon if it hurts someone's sentiment. it certainly wasn't my motive. – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 16:58, 30 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Akshadev, I would note that "whatever I have done was bound to happen, sooner or later" is not likely to have a positive effect on the outcome of this unblock request. Most editors, in fact, do not use sockpuppets or edit while logged out in order to create an impression of support, and at the time you protested quite strenuously that you had not engaged in those things. The need here, as you are aware, is to convince some reviewer that these things will not take place in the future, but it may prove difficult since this was not the first time either socking or logged-out editing took place. Suggesting some positive edits you intend to make, or volunteering to accept some particular restrictions (such as not initiating in or participating in move requests at all, etc.) might be helpful, although there are no guarantees. Dekimasuよ! 00:57, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello there Dekimasu, sorry for saying "What I did was bound to happen", It was totally my bad! I completely agree with your statement, except "volunteering to accept some particular restrictions (such as not initiating in or participating in move requests at all)". Because in my request, I've clearly stated that "I understand Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and I'm sincerely committed to adhering to them" (3rd point). That is a 'firm assurance' rather than a 'misleading' or a 'vague' one (again, with all due respect).
For the time being, I feel that I need some more time so that I can think calmly and firmly about "why I should get that one last chance" and present my point properly. May be a month or more (don't know)... I appreciate your valuable suggestions and time.
Thank you! – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 06:55, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
information Note: This would also be my last statement for now. – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 06:57, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello everyone, considering Dekimasu's suggestion, "Suggesting some positive edits you intend to make, or volunteering to accept some particular restrictions (such as not initiating in or participating in move requests at all, etc.) might be helpful." I won't 'participate' or 'initiate' a requested moves. I'd rather suggest one if a perticular article fulfills the criteria for RM. Secondly, I will continue to try to improve Wikipedia. I seek some positive development regarding my bolck. Though I've my credibility too much, I hope I recieve some positive response. – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 03:54, 4 September 2024 (UTC) information Note: To get unblocked, I am ready for any kind (not extreme) of restriction. English is not my mother tongue. So I humbly request everyone to try to u know g7nderstand my feelings and not only my words. Please! – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 09:33, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Respected administrators, whatever I said above, 2 I was emotional due to not being able to explain my point to you all and being blocked for such a long period. if wants to impose short term or long term ban (as suggested by Dekimasu some time back) then I am ready to accept and follow those conditions. And I firmly promise you all that if I am unblocked, I will never repeat my past mistakes again in my entire life. If anyone wants to ask something, please feel free to ask.

One more thing I want with this is that this unblock request should end now, because now I have nothing else to say. I don't know whether the decision will be in my favor or not, but I know that whatever you all decide will be right. And I will gladly accept it.

I've probably explained above why I want to return to Wikipedia. Now I have tried to explain to you all why I should be allowed to come back. The final decision is in your hands.

I humbly request you all to think deeply on this unblock request of mine. Even 5 minutes of your valuable time is extremely valuable to me. Thank you! – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 14:35, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I wrote 'final reply' by mistake in my previous edit summary. Pardon. – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 14:38, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
My phone's touch screen isn't working very well, there are some mistakes in the sentences. So pardon for that as well. – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 14:42, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I will correct them by tomorrow. – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 14:44, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I will not tamper the statement. I do not want to put myself in any wrong situation. I'm leaving the sentence as they are right now. It's understandable enough. Thank you! – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 10:25, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Struck through my comment, and added this comment as its replacement. Pardon me for this and thanks! – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 01:43, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Lastly, please do write me back, because if there's still anything I need to improve (to get unblocked) then please let me know. I'll try my best. Thanks and best regards! – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 02:05, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding unblock and my return

[edit]

May I know why my request is not getting rejected or accepted? My previous unblock request got rejected multiple times and quite immediately, ie. here. Am I being tested for something or what? Please let me know, it's killing me inside, it's been 9 months since I'm blocked so please write me back. For god sake please, count on me for the one last time. I will never violate multiple accounts again, ever. Regards! – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 06:46, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If there are any conditions or rules, please tell me! I am ready to accept them. I have accepted my mistake many times and still accept it and promise that I will never make such a mistake again. To get unblocked, I am ready to accept Dekimasu's terms.
Just to note, it has been almost 9 months since I was blocked, in this duration I neither used any new account nor did any logged-out editing. I know very well that it is very difficult to trust me but you have the power to punish people for their mistakes. In the end, I would just like to say that I want to remove the stain that has been put on me regarding Wikipedia because of me. Thanks you! – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 07:23, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Akshadev, sorry you've been waiting so long. Part of why is probably because admins come to this page, see this giant wall of comments you've written, and decide they could more easily help someone else (there are over 100 unblock requests in the queue right now). Another part is because of the nature of your block - most admins can't lift your block, since you were blocked by a checkuser. Only another checkuser can unblock you, and there aren't that many of them.
I'm going to decline your unblock request. I know that's not what you want to hear, but I think it will give you a better chance of successfully appealing your block. Here is what I think you should do:
  1. go back through the conversation you had with Yamla and Dekimasu and re-read their advice about what you should talk about in your unblock request
  2. ask me whatever questions you might have
  3. write an unblock request, but save it on your device, don't post it
  4. leave for a while - a week, or maybe a month, whatever it takes to stop feeling emotional about this
  5. edit that unblock request you wrote in step 3, so that it's as short and calm as possible
  6. post the unblock request, and wait.
I can't promise anything, but I think you'll have a much better chance with a second try. -- asilvering (talk) 02:31, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Asilvering: First of all thank you for your humble reply. Secondly, I am ready to accept the terms of dekimasu, yet I am surprised that I was not unblocked. Your suggestion is right but I am confused what and how much I should write in the next unblock request. – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 04:59, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Can you explain what terms have you agreed to? Dekimasu's comment didn't specify any restriction that you must abide in order to be unblocked. Ratnahastin (talk) 05:08, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Ratnahastin, Please read this carefully. Dekimasu had clearly said "suggesting some positive edits you intend to make, or volunteering to accept some particular restrictions (such as not initiating in or participating in move requests at all, etc.) might be helpful." This is what I'm agreed to. – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 05:52, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That message means you should propose the edits that you are willing to make if you are unblocked. That would let us know how good you are at editing. Ratnahastin (talk) 07:05, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Asilvering Please write me back for my question above. I'm pinging you because of your second point (2. ask me whatever questions you might have). – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 11:31, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I didn't respond to that question myself because Ratnahastin got to it. To summarize, you'll want to concisely explain why you were blocked and what you will do in the future that will not lead to another block. You should explain what kinds of things you want to edit, and come up with an answer to Dekimasu's suggestion - some kind of particular restriction you'll abide by that satisfies the reason why you were blocked in the first place. -- asilvering (talk) 00:08, 2 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Asilvering Thanks for being so kind and giving me your precious time. I really appreciate your positive response. My cousin is getting married at 16th November so I'll be a little busy. So I'll look into the unblock process after some time. Again, thanks a lot for responding. Happy editing! – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 📧 06:42, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
