Alan, I assume this was whom you meant? 11:46, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, it was really late...I'd wanted to get started and didn't have time, and threw this line on the Planned list so I could come back to it. I also notice that someone just vandalized that page, but it was reverted. Akradecki 14:18, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
Clive Cussler
[edit]Alan, with your marine interests, have you come across the novels of Clive Cussler? DFH 15:24, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- No, I don't believe so. The names rings a very mute bell, but I don't believe I've read any. I've never really been that intersted in marine stuff, until actually getting to touch a piece of Titanic's hull at the exhibition in San Francisco started me reading about the history of the White Star Line. Everyone focuses on Titanic, but there is so much other wonderful history associated with that line. Of course, I was especially intrigued when I learned of the connection between Moody Church and the Titanic. Akradecki 17:18, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- I've read nearly all his novels, and a couple of his non-fiction titles. Great enjoyment for holiday light reading if you like a combination of the thriller genre and marine exploration. Sadly, the film version of his novel Raise the Titanic was a huge flop. DFH 17:40, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- Wasn't that done sometime in the late '80s? If it's the one I remember, by buddy in H.S. worked at a theater and was able to get us in free...saw it opening day...still remember the ship cresting the surface.... Akradecki 19:46, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- Oops..I mean the 70s.... Akradecki 22:56, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

Sort each of these lists
[edit]Alan, It might help you to keep track easier if the list in each section was sorted in alphabetical order, rather than (presumably) the date order you added them. DFH 18:18, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- Good thought...on the to-do list! Akradecki 18:59, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
