[edit]Please do not use Wikipedia to promote businesses, such as you did in the article Comparison of crowdfunding services. Wikipedia is not the Yellow pages. If you want to list a company for potential customers to find, please consider alternative outlets. Thank you. Laser brain (talk) 11:43, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
Hi, The edit was never intended as a promotion. Just came across the list and wanted to share with the wikipedia readers another site that does what the article 'Comparison of crowdfunding services' covers. I copied what was there on the other row and created an entry. I am not in any way affiliated to Impact Guru. However, I have used their services and they are the only ones who send fund usage reports(atleast in India). This impressed me and thought this should be on the list. Please guide me how to edit it in such a way that it does not come across as a promotion. Thanks.Akansharathi (talk) 06:02, 13 May 2016 (UTC)
- It's obvious that you are associated with the company in some way or were paid by the company to create this entry. The entire article was written with a promotional tone using inappropriate sources. You may rewrite the article using the Wikipedia:Articles for creation process and an independent editor will check it for tone and appropriate sources before reestablishing it. You cannot use press releases, blogs, and internal sources to establish notability. --Laser brain (talk) 11:13, 13 May 2016 (UTC)
