Article Peer Review
[edit]Hi Alfredo,
Firstly, I would like to thank you for your contribution to Wikipedia and to a topic that is very important for community building. Your lead paragraph is clear, structured and cohesive. The information flows from one important point to another without any misleading or biased information. You provide a straightforward and clear explanation of language-based development and its role in communities. When looking through your resources, I noticed that the “What is Language Development” source primarily discusses language development within an ethnology and linguistic context. It discusses how ethnology and linguistics are interrelated and what it means for communities and their ability to thrive in a community without compromising their own language and culture. Highlighting what language development means for different ethno-linguistic minority groups can strengthen your lead. Otherwise, finding a more relevant source to your particular lead may be helpful. I also noticed that the quote by Charles Winick is directed from a source that may not comply with Wikipedia source guidelines so changing that will provide more credibility to your lead. These are just minor changes but overall well done on your lead and I really enjoyed reading it.
Page move
[edit]Hi, it might not have been your intention, but you moved User:Ajrivasg/sandbox, in your user space, to Langauge Based Development, in the main article space, even though the page is not an article. I've just moved it back. Please be careful when moving pages in the future. — Smjg (talk) 08:21, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
