Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to the Duleep Singh article. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. Thank you! Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page 1984 anti-Sikh riots has been reverted.
Your edit here to 1984 anti-Sikh riots was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://monsteramitabh.blogspot.com/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 10:32, 12 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted your edit of Banda Singh Bahadur because the views you expressed were unsourced and in any case they should not have been put into the article itself - thay should have been aired on the article's talk page. However I have added a sentence that indicates that Dilgeer's account is challenged by some Sikhs and I have provided sources to support that. I hope you will be content with that. You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  331dot (talk) 06:56, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

We cannot stop you from taking legal action according to the laws of your country, but you may not make legal threats on Wikipedia, nor edit if you have a legal action underway. You can pursue your grievances in the courts of your country according to its legal system or on Wikipedia using Wikipedia processes, but not both at the same time. You will need to unequivocally withdraw your legal threats in order to be unblocked. We want articles to be accurate, but this must be done in the proper manner, in consultation with other editors to arrive at a consensus as to what an article should say. 331dot (talk) 07:00, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In the post that 331dot rightly deleted, you appear to be alluding to the response to the long appeal that you posted within Talk:Guru Nanak almost two years ago. Like many editors of en:Wikipedia, I can't comment on the sources you cite or describe because I cannot read the language(s) and know nothing of either the history of Sikhism or the relevant calendar(s). After you have got yourself unblocked (see above), you might invite readers of Wikipedia talk:Noticeboard for India-related topics to take a look at Talk:Guru Nanak and to comment there. -- Hoary (talk) 07:15, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I will talk in Court only. I find wikipedia always misleading on Sikh history. Either you delete the post or edit it give correct month Kartik as his birth. No other date or month is accepted. I already posted in Talks few days ago giving authenticated sources. None can challenge them. So no other option is there. AS Randhawa (talk) 07:28, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That is your option. Please see WP:LEGAL for information as to how you or your lawyer can contact Wikipedia's lawyers. I will have to remove your access to this page while your legal action is underway. You may use WP:UTRS to request unblock when your legal action is concluded or if you change your mind and decide to use Wikipedia processes to address your grievance. 331dot (talk) 07:38, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
