Just an FYI. wp:talkpages are for discussing improvements to the article. In the case of List of refrigerants, correcting errors, adding another refrigerant, or formatting changes. Discussing the benefits of HCs over HFCs (which I agree with avoiding HFCs) should not be undertaken on this page per WP:NOTFORUM. That would be for off-Wikipedia chat rooms. Adding such benefits to articles such refrigerant, refrigeration, etc. or discussing adding them would be quite acceptable if they don't stray too far off topic or become the main topic.
