Use of minor edit flag

[edit]

Please view wp:minor. The minor edit tag should only be used for changes such as correcting spelling, punctuation etc. Large additions of text such as this [[1]]. Shouldn't be tagged as a minor edit. Even changes such as this [[2]] which change the structure of a sentence normally are not considered minor. Springee (talk) 12:12, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Attribution of Text

[edit]

While reuse of text from one article to the next is allowed, the copied text should be credited to it's source in the edit note. For example, the addition here [[3]] and here [[4]] contained several paragraphs copied from here [[5]]. The newly added material needs to credit the original source even when that source is another Wikipedia article. Springee (talk) 12:12, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
