Speedy deletion of Altsoft Xml2PDF

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Altsoft Xml2PDF, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. digitalmischief (talk) 10:45, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

{{hangon}}

A tag has been placed on Xml2pdf, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Xml2pdf and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. AVRS (talk) 12:23, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Altsoft

[edit]

I have nominated Altsoft, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Altsoft. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. §FreeRangeFrog 17:15, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think that the page named "Altsoft" has right to present in the Wikipedia. The article is informative and encyclopedic, it doesn't violate any copyright law and is not advertising and oromotion of the company. Therewith the article is under construction.Aimonai (talk) 14:38, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Xml2PDF

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Xml2PDF, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Even less notable than the parent company, no assertion of notability

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. yandman 11:11, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Warning: Conflicts of Interest

[edit]

Based on your comments at Wikipedia:Deletion review#Altsoft, it is apparent that you own or represent the company Altsoft, and your editing at Wikipedia has been exclusively dedicated to writing about the company and its products. Please be aware that this is in direct violation of Wikipedia policy on Conflict of interest. A person writing about themselves is engaging in vanity; a person working for a company that writes about them, such as you are doing, is engaging in self-promotion. I'm leaving you this warning: you need to familiarize yourself with Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, and stop creating articles on your company or its products or you will risk being blocked. Mangojuicetalk 19:19, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Mangojuice, i will read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and stop. thank you.Aimonai (talk) 20:56, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

All the items at List of PDF software have their own Wikipedia article. Please don't add a new one unless it has an article. Regards, Oli Filth(talk|contribs) 15:02, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
