[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Miss A, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted (undone) by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.
- Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
- ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
- If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to place "
{{helpme}}
" on your talk page and someone will drop by to help. - The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Miss A was changed by Ai Ciara (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.859697 on 2012-02-04T15:57:06+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 15:57, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
Pictures
[edit]I see that you're trying to add a picture to Miss A. However, for both technical and copyright reasons, all pictures in WP articles must be uploaded to our servers first. If you would like to upload one of those pictures, please go to WP:Files for upload and make a request there. However, please note that for living people, you may only upload pictures that you yourself have taken (and are willing to be released as public domain or Creative Commons), or that are already in the public domain--we cannot use any photographs taken by other people, especially not professional photos. - Your attempt to link to a file at Miss A made a mess of the infobox. Please always click "Show preview" before you save an edit, and don't save it if it isn't going to work. Also, you can try out test edits in the sandbox. JamesBWatson (talk) 16:08, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
- Ai, I understand that you are trying to be helpful, but if you keep messing up the pictures like that (again, you have to upload them first), I'm going to have to block you, because your changes are hurting the articles and costing other editors' time. Please stop, follow the instructions above, and, if you don't understand, please ask here. Qwyrxian (talk) 16:23, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
- Ai, I've just blocked you for three hours. I'm concerned that you're not seeing the messages here, or that you simply don't understand them. Again, If you are confused, please ask. But don't just wait for the block to expire then keep doing the same thing. Qwyrxian (talk) 16:26, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
- Hi, Ai, I got your message on my talk page. What you need to do is go to WP:Files for upload and follow the instructions there. However, as I also mentioned, you should know that you can only upload pictures that you have taken or that someone else has released into the public domain. So that means you can't take pictures you're copied from most websites, you can't use screenshots of videos or TV, you can't scan things from magazines. Please let me know if you have further questions. Qwyrxian (talk) 21:16, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
Also, when you post messages on people's talk, two things: first, please reply in the same section as before (you'll see that I moved your last comment up into the old section). Second, please always put four tildes after your post (that looks like ~~~~); this will automatically sign and time stamp your post. Qwyrxian (talk) 23:22, 7 February 2012 (UTC)
