Information icon Hello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Love Yourself, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and/or verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. (CC) Tbhotch 16:30, 21 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from adding, removing or changing genres, as you did to Hold On (Justin Bieber song), without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Muhandes (talk) 17:20, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

In the genres of the album, dance pop was written a few days ago, then it was deleted Ahmet uyn541 (talk) 20:24, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

why are you deleting he can play guitar drums and piano, research them correctly Ahmet uyn541 (talk) 08:00, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
From the template directions: "nstruments listed in the infobox should be limited to only those that the artist is primarily known for using. The instruments infobox parameter is not intended as a WP:COATRACK for every instrument the subject has ever used." Bieber is known for singing, not for playing guitar, drums, or piano. —C.Fred (talk) 12:05, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

On taylor swift's page, her instrumental infobox says bonjo ukulele and guitar, but she's also known for singing, not playing them Ahmet uyn541 (talk) 14:03, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

what's the difference between them? Ahmet uyn541 (talk) 14:11, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Good question. I've asked about piano and ukulele at Talk:Taylor Swift. My inclination is to remove uke; I'm not sure how much she plays piano. There are pictures of her playing guitar and banjo in the article, so I see why those should stay. —C.Fred (talk) 14:28, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ok but justin bieber can also play the piano guitar and drums since he was little, we see this in many of his performances Ahmet uyn541 (talk) 14:41, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I think, in the instrumental section, we should write down the musical instruments that the artists know how to play. Ahmet uyn541 (talk) 14:41, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That can be covered in the body of the article, but the infobox is not a laundry list. —C.Fred (talk) 15:06, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Okey thanks for answering my question Ahmet uyn541 (talk) 15:30, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 1989 (Taylor Swift album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Pop. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Be more cautious when adding genres

[edit]

Please stop adding new genres to Justin Bieber-related articles, particularly those sourced from Fandom, as it is not a reliable source. I also advise you to look at WP:EXPLICITGENRE to check if a genre should even be included. ThedancingMOONpolice (talk) 17:20, 8 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ok but I'm having trouble finding a source that explains the genre of songs Ahmet uyn541 (talk) 20:26, 8 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
