[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Talk:As'ad AbuKhalil, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 20:25, 18 August 2017 (UTC)
- @Jd22292:, please clarify what was nonconstructive about this edit. --Krenair (talk • contribs) 21:46, 19 August 2017 (UTC)
- @Krenair: I saw the edit request as a whole page or partial page request. The sections were set up in a way that if I responded with WP:EPH, it wouldn't look good, i.e. my response before the request. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 21:49, 19 August 2017 (UTC)
- @Jd22292: I don't follow what you're on about and I've been here a good few years. Perhaps you'd like to explain to the user, who joined this week, what was wrong with their edit request. --Krenair (talk • contribs) 21:52, 19 August 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Islamosecularism
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Islamosecularism requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. - Dr. Hassan: I read your blog on Islamosecularism. It is well written and contains valuable information. But Wikipedia is not a good place to link your blog as a source on the subject. Please take a look at self-published sources (or "SPS"). Wikipedia does not consider personal blogs as reliable sources. We are looking for sources that are published by independent organs such as books and journals. Still, let me ask -- did your PhD thesis cover Islamosecularism? If it did, then we might be able to use it. But we need to be able to find it. This is critical for verification. So, please feel free to contact me on my usertalk page if you'd like more information. Thanks. – S. Rich (talk) 03:56, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
