Topic Choices

The first topic that I would like to work on is Lee Krasner's page. She was an abstract expressionist artist who's work is often overlooked by the fact that she was married to Jackson Pollock. I would add more information about important works that she created since her page does not include any discussion of any of her paintings. Out of all of my choices for this project, I feel that Krasner's page needs the most work.

If I could not work on Krasner's page, then I would like to work on Howardena Pindell. The section about her work is a bit more developed than Krasner's but it only formally describes one of her works. Considering her range of works, this section could be developed to discuss the different media she uses and how her work showcases political concepts.

The next person I would want to research is Ana Mendieta who was a feminist artist. While Mendieta's Wikipedia page does discuss some of her works, this section needs more citations for its improvement. Another aspect that is underplayed on her Wikipedia project is her death since there is not a specific heading for this information.
