[edit]You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Bbb23 (talk) 21:55, 16 April 2022 (UTC)Blocking dispute
[edit]{unblock|reason=I was unaware that my username was against Wikipedia rules. I am not creating articles to spam or self promote- the draft I was creating actually isn’t related to myself at all, just a subject that I am interested in.} Agilitystars (talk) 22:01, 16 April 2022 (UTC)
Unblock request
[edit]{unblock-spamun|Agilitylover|I don’t make any gain, financial or otherwise, from my Wikipedia contributions. I understand why my username and editing seems as though it broke the naming rules (however I would like to clarify that I am not a part of an organisation named agility stars. I named my account as such because I am interested in dog agility and intended to create/edit articles about the ‘stars’ of the sport. Therefore I was actually not promoting my ‘organisation’ via the draft I was creating.) I sincerely apologise if it did appear this way but that was not my intention at all, I just wanted to show appreciation for the sport. I will change my username in accordance with Wikipedia policy if I cannot keep my current one, however I intend on creating/editing agility articles simply because that is what I am interested in.
