February 2016
[edit]Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Selena Quick with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 09:38, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Selena Quick, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Selena Quick, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 09:44, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
You are also deleting the wp:tags
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at Selena Quick. Jim1138 (talk) 09:54, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
Selena Quick and verifiability
[edit]Definitely better, thank you. The article is still lacking citations supporting the information in the article. Her age is one item. Adding references is how we ensure that content is correct. Without references, there is no presumption of accuracy. Please help make Wikipedia wp:verifiable. Please wp:cite your edits with wp:reliable sources. Unsourced content may be removed. This is especially critical with wp:biographies of living persons. The best way is to add wp:inline citations. Next to the fact add a <ref> ''citation'' </ref> (ignore the nowiki stuff) You can replace the citation with a simple url such as [http://gulfnews.com/radio1/presenters/selena-1.446105 Selena, Radio 1 UAE] or (best) use a template such as {{cite web}}
, {{cite book}}
and add the pertinent information. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 10:39, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
