Chotukhel tribe. (Chothukhel Tribe) The Chothukhel tribe lives in the Tank district in the south of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The ancestors of the Chothokhel tribe were very powerful and intelligent who controlled the Tank Zam water in the plain area of Tank district with their own hands without any machine which is not possible today. The Chothokhel tribe lives in the villages of Gara Shahbaz, Nasran, Gola Korai, Odal, Khanu, and Chothokhel in Tank District. According to some elders, Chothokhel was a major branch of Ahmadzai tribe. According to some esteemed elders, Chotukhel is a changed name of Chondkhel.
