What Wikipedia is
[edit]Please understand, this isn't social media. The article you are trying to edit is not the school's page on Wikipedia. It is an independent encyclopedia article about the school. Every contributor to Wikipedia is a volunteer. Everybody...you, me, everyone. You clearly do not understand what you are doing. In itself, that isn't a problem, but insisting that another volunteer stop what they are doing to clean up after you is. I've left you some links to help you understand what we do here, and a link to a place where you can get help. Anyone is welcome to edit Wikipedia, but it has to be done according to our policies guidelines and procedures. If you want to take the time to learn how to do it, people will help you. If you want to leave misplaced nasty notes on others talk pages blaming them for your lack of competence, not so much. Good luck to you. John from Idegon (talk) 00:02, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
- What we're on about is protecting people from wrong information, especially text that denigrates people. So... a bit of trigger-itis, after all the times removing "Homer Simpson" from entries like 'principal'. And so the greate desire is to have everything referenced, for instance as found at bottom of this PDF. Saying resigned looks suspicious to us. Saying resigned and giving a verifiable reference makes us very happy. I'll see what I can do after a bit of a meal. Shenme (talk) 00:57, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
