Edgeley Viaduct
[edit]Please discuss your removal of cited information on Stockport Viaduct at Talk:Stockport Viaduct#Edgeley Viaduct, rather than reverting again. Thank you. Dave.Dunford (talk) 20:15, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
- I'm going to leave your edit in place, as it does seem the evidence for "Edgeley Viaduct" is limited, but you really do need to understand Wikipedia's policies properly before editing. As well as not breaching the three-revert rule, you really should assume good faith and discuss your edits on the relevant Talk Page calmly if they are questioned, rather than embarking on an edit war based only on your own opinions. This could have been resolved more quickly and amicably had you followed Wikipedia procedures. Dave.Dunford (talk) 12:31, 17 February 2021 (UTC)

" In that case, you need to learn before editing. The onus is on you to learn how Wikipedia works if you want to change it; it's not a free-for-all and it doesn't work without rules. I note that you (I presume it's you) have again removed the information, without logging in. This, if intentional, is known as sockpuppetry and is against Wikipedia rules. You may feel passionately about this and you may well be right, but there are Wikipedia norms that you need to follow. Dave.Dunford (talk) 13:14, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
IP edits
[edit]Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Stockport Viaduct while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Dave.Dunford (talk) 13:39, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
