Lebanese rugby

You have flagged two of my player profiles on our Lebanon National Rugby Union team for deletion. We are just trying to start and complete all our players profiles but do not want to continue to go through the hassle of being flagged for deletion. We are a division 3 international rugby team and so are not funded by our government and are still in the grass roots portion of our history. I do not know how else we can source our players profiles as most play rugby locally in lebanon or overseas for local clubs that do not have websites or anything of that matter. What do you suggest?

@Lebanonrugbymedia: Hi, thanks for reaching out. The point of Wikipedia isn't to help people or organizations promote themselves or be a repository of hard to find information. It's an encyclopedia of notable topics. While I'm sympathetic to your situation, I think it's clear that this isn't the place for you to reach your goal - your players will have entries about them if and when they become notable; Wikipedia is not a means for them to achieve that notability. Wikipedia has clear guidelines for what notability means for different topics - if you're interested, you can read WP:NRU. If your union wants web presence, there are low-cost web hosts and publishing platforms that lots of other up-and-coming organizations use. Ytoyoda (talk) 00:57, 3 March 2017 (UTC)

Hi, That is some unfortunate news. Our players have accomplished notable feats. Some of our players have and do play at high levels across the globe but take time and money to travel to play for their country of heritage. We have our own website in order to promote our organization and players. This is in no way a means for our players to achieve notability.
