I think you have done a very good job illustrating the actual shield in your article. The initial article was very unclear and technical without much explanation towards what any of it meant. You have put in many more explanations that make the article a easier and frankly better read than it was. Your additions to the final paragraph not only helped clarify what the intention of the shield was, but it also added some helpful information as to describe it's real meaning.
