Made in the Midlands
[edit]I'm not sure I understand what you mean about an out-of-date version coming up when you search. Could you clarify a bit more? Bearcat (talk) 17:40, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
- Ah, okay, you meant the autocomplete in the search bar. The way the Wikipedia database works, while the title itself will work right away if you type it manually (or if it's a redirect), it takes a day or two after a new article is written (or an old article is moved to a different title) before the current page title will actually pop up as an "autocomplete" option while you're typing it. So in this particular case, because your original article was a couple of days old, but my moving the page to fix the capitalization on Midlands was less than a day, the original title would still pop up in the autocomplete box. The update happens on its own as the database catches up, and there's not really anything that can be done to make it happen faster, so it's just a matter of patience. Just so you know in case you run into an issue like this again. Bearcat (talk) 17:45, 22 June 2011 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Made in the Midlands
[edit]The article Made in the Midlands has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Advert-y and sourced only to industry websites. Parts are very out-of date too. Still orphaned after 2 years. Currently fails WP:GNG and WP:NCORP.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sionk (talk) 12:07, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
