The article Bernhard Thalheim has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. [edit]Your addition to Bernhard Thalheim has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. MikeWazowski (talk) 19:55, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

Request reason:
I was making a page for Prof. Thalheim for his scientific achievements, for his 60th birthday. If I re write the text in other words would it work? I am new to this. Please help me Adamdhal (talk) 21:45, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Procedural decline - already unblocked. Peridon (talk) 13:15, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- What you were blocked for was persistent copyright violation. Copy and pasting text from copyrighted and nonfree sources into Wikipedia, as well as uploading copyrighted and nonfree images, is not acceptable, except in a few rare cases. Before considering your unblock request, I would like a confirmation from you that you understand what you did is not acceptable here and that you will not do it in the future. Seraphimblade Talk to me 22:51, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
Yes I understand, is there a way to check whether the text I write has any violations?
- Please sign talkpage posts with ~~~~. Thanks. Well, if there wasn't, you wouldn't have been caught out... Try Googling for a short (but interesting) section of the text to see if it's online, and don't copy from books. (People here do use libraries, and the style of stuff written in books looks different from the way most people talk or write.) If you use info from sources (as you must), you should completely reword, and not just change odd words here and there. Peridon (talk) 11:12, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
