Empty Internet Archive links
Back in 2013 you expanded a couple of articles like 142nd Indiana Infantry Regiment or 135th Illinois Volunteer Infantry Regiment, adding among other things references like:
- Terrell, W.H.H. (1867). The Report of the Adjutant General of the State of Indiana. Containing Rosters for the Years 1861–1865, Volume 7. Indianapolis, Indiana. Samuel M. Douglass, State Printer.
- Reece. Brigadier General J.N. (1900). The Report of Illinois from Military and Navel Department of the Adjutant General of the State of Illinois. Containing Reports for the Years 1861–1866. Springfield, Illinois. Journal Company, Printers and Binders.
As you notice, the URL underneath these book titles is empty; it just links to the Internet Archive main page. Could you please fix that? --bender235 (talk) 15:53, 26 July 2016 (UTC)
- bender235 – I'm sure they can find it from the Internet Archive. Other people haven't complained about it. Adamdaley (talk) 09:12, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
- Well, I am complaining right now. How many more people does it need? Anyhow, empty external links like these don't help anyone. You won't find anything like this anywhere else on Wikipedia. Please help either fix them, or removed them. --bender235 (talk) 12:46, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
- Ok, I fixed it where ever I could find those empty links. Could you please check if they are correct? --bender235 (talk) 13:44, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
- I'm sure if you could find the right files, other people could find it through 8.66 GB of American Civil War files (stored on an external HD) the that I have from the Internet Archive website. Adamdaley (talk) 03:23, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
