User talk:Adam Silverstein2
Hello, Adam Silverstein2, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I notice that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. To start creating a draft article, just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit that page as you would any other. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
The one firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. It is also worth noting that Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which specifically link them to one company or corporation. If your username does have such a name, it would be advisable for you to request a change of username.
If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! You can also just type {{helpme}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! JoeSperrazza (talk) 00:18, 5 September 2011 (UTC)

Oral Bioavailability of Carfilzomib
[edit]Hello Adam! I saw that Carfilzomib has successfully been tested in early stage patients and using ORAL administration:
http://www.vacancer.com/2012/03/13/carfilzomib-promising-in-newly-diagnosed-multiple-myeloma/
This is great, especially in view of the fact that most peptides just get digested during gut-passage and can only be taken via injection.
Also, work on Carfilzomib has recently been reviewed in a beginner-friendly way in Chemical & Engineering News and that citation might be included:
http://cen.acs.org/articles/90/i35/Carfilzomib-Discovery-Drug.html
I am completely new to Wikipedia and not yet familiar with this editing of raw HTML, especially as for citations. So, as you suggested, I am going through you with suggestions for change.
I hope the editors will let you continue. So far, the article does not look exaggeratingly positive or biased to me.
Best regards,

Thank you Anastasia!
[edit]Anastasia, thank you for your message. I am working to submit a new article for Tony Coles, the Chief Executive Officer of the biopharmaceutical company Onyx Pharmaceuticals. In full disclosure, I am with the public relations agency for Dr. Coles. However, I've been educating myself and learning about the notoriety and sourcing requirements for Wikipedia, and believe that the draft article I created as sub-page of my user page would meet the needed requirements.
What would be the best way to submit? Should I use the article creation wizard, or should I look to engage other members of the Wikipedia to comment on the page first?
Adam Silverstein (talk) 21:35, 15 May 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Adam, you are very welcome. I love to help out new users! It is completely alright to use the article creation wizard to create an article about Dr. Coles, seeing how you have done a very good job with the sourcing, and, almost more importantly, you have not written it like a resume! A very good job indeed for a new contributer! If you have any more questions feel free to contact me at my talk page. Happy Editing! ~ Anastasia (talk) 17:11, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Thanks so much, Anastasia! Appreciate your kind words and support

[edit]Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to N. Anthony (Tony) Coles may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
