2016–2021: Spreading like its own wildfire

At ~ 4 Million+ streams across platforms and rising, WithLoveXavier is quickly becoming known for his unique lyricism — his way of relating and sharing through music. He first stepped onto the scene in 2019 with “Feenin’,” and has since added six additional singles — including stream-stackers “Deserve It” and “Good Vibes” — before this year’s debut LP offering with This Is Fine. The LP — which, yes, is named for the iconic meme — is spreading like its own wildfire, resonating wide following its February 2021 release. One such noteworthy nod of the Brooklyn-based artist’s work included legendary singer and songwriter, Ne-Yo. “He reached out,” Xavier shares of the artists co-sign. “He even added his voice to the album. It was like a passing of a torch.” The latest to land from his freshly pressed album, This Is Fine, “For What For What (feat. 9D4 JU)” is one chapter in the eight-track arc that spans the release from start to finish. “It’s a rollercoaster,” WithLoveXavier, Matthew Xavier Hunter — says of the album. “It’s an eight-part rollercoaster that tells the story of a man who is trying to give love a second chance, but is in conflict with himself — and the world.” He got his inspiration, from people like Freddie Mercury, Tracy Chapman, Drake, and The Weeknd. He feels like their fearlessness when it comes to visuals and sound is something I take when I go into completing a project. Freestyling approach when it comes to recording tracks. he knows what works and what sonically sounds great and I create a story around it.

The difference between me and most artists is that he can tap into any genre and lane he wants to with ease. he is not set fully on R&B. His moods change when it comes to what he wants to produce musically. One day he could make a really sensual song and another day he could make a dance hall track or even a drill track. It feels like that’s a great asset to have when he just wants to expand and reach the world and work with different artists. With everything from hip hop to EDM, there are no limits to him and that’s what makes him great.

What more can we expect we can expect that he become the biggest name in music very soon. He has supreme confidence in his ability. For the longest, he stayed humble and didn’t have the confidence to show people that he has what it takes. Life is very short, he has a new hunger and a new drive to be the best at what he does. He's doing everything from production to branding. It takes a lot of time and effort to him on top of his game but he knows he has a gift, and also wants people to know that he is a voice for the voiceless. And try his best to make music to uplift. He is a dreamer and convinces people through his actions that their dreams can come true, if they believe in themselves and put the time in.
