A WikiProject of this nature is very broad. Munich has a rich history in sports, culture, politics along with many more topics. Feel free to help out in your area of interest.
If you want to check the project out you can click the link above. If you want to join the project, you can sign up here.
If you have any questions feel free to contact myself or any other member of the project.
The invitation remains open. Especially for people in Munich. Kingjeff 04:47, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
Change to Common.css
[edit]Per recent discussions, the way in which Persondata is viewed by Wikipedia editors has changed. In order to continue viewing Persondata in Wikipedia articles, please edit your user CSS file to display table.persondata rather than table.metadata. More specific instructions can be found on the Persondata page. --ShakingSpirittalk on behalf of Kaldari 00:37, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
Nice panorama. :-) I elaborated a bit on the text and made the names bi-lingual. I can get a weekly computer background from Wikipedia with all these pictures! regards, Icsunonove 18:47, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for working on the text!
Maybe I can do something more for your computer background someday :-) --Aconcagua 17:14, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
Thank you!

--TeddyE (talk) 16:41, 29 February 2008 (UTC) Hello - I don't understand why you have deleted Todd Sharpville's real name from his Wikipedia entry. In a previous edit, you wrote "what does this reference say about Todd Sharpville?" which I don't understand in the context of a biographical article. Where a performer is known by a pseudonym, their real names are shown - see Bono, Pink, Ringo Starr, Professor Longhair, Engelbert Humperdinck, for example. Please would you explain the reasons for your deletion. Thank you.
- Where on this page is the connection between Todd Sharpville and the person called Hon. Roland Augusto Jestyn Estantislao Philipps?! --Aconcagua (talk) 17:36, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
--TeddyE (talk) 17:47, 29 February 2008 (UTC) I understand your point and perhaps the external link should be removed. However, Todd Sharpville is the younger son of Viscount St Davids. The younger son's name is "The Hon. Roland Augusto Jestyn Estantislao Philipps" (source: [1]).
- OK, that may be the case. But do you have any source for the "Todd Sharpville is the younger son of Viscount St Davids"? I can't find any reference for this besides Wikipedia. --Aconcagua (talk) 17:52, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
--TeddyE (talk) 18:15, 29 February 2008 (UTC) It appears that many (or most?) of the edits to this article have been done by someone closely connected with the subject of the article and it was they who introduced this information. Certainly, it's never been removed over the course of several edits. I have just checked the list of songs registered with the US songwriters' organisation BMI (Broadcast Music Incorporated) and they show that Sharpville=Phillipps. Compare these two lists of songs:
Songs written by Todd Sharpville
Songs written by Roland Augusto Jestyn Estantislao Philipps
- That's convincing. Maybe you can add it as references to the article. --Aconcagua (talk) 20:37, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
--TeddyE (talk) 23:07, 29 February 2008 (UTC) OK but how should it be phrased/structured? I'm fairly new to WP editing. If you'd like to add the information, then please do.
- Well, and I'm no native speaker and am not familiar with the english Wikipedia but only with the german. Maybe you can put it on the talk page and somebody else adds it to the article. --Aconcagua (talk) 18:11, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

There is a discussion starting up at Talk:Batavia (disambiguation), that may be of interest to you. The subject is technically a page move discussion, but the purpose of the discussion is to decide where Batavia should redirect. Until earlier today, Batavia redirected to History of Jakarta, but during this discussion, it is redirecting to Batavia (disambiguation). Your comments and suggestions are welcome.
Thanks for your help. HuskyHuskie (talk) 22:37, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
You are receiving this because you are one of the principal editors of one of the articles that is linked to Batavia (disambiguation). This notice is being posted to all of the top three editors of each of these articles (in terms of total edits), with the following exceptions:
- editors who are blocked
- anonymous IP editors
- editors who, despite ranking in the top three of edits to an article, have only a single edit to said article
This is an attempt to be a neutrally-phrased posting in keeping with the principles of WP:CANVASS. If you find anything in the wording or the manner posted to be a violation of that guideline, please notify me at my talk page.
