Spamming

[edit]

Please do not spam this site. Next time means a permanent block since this behavior is not tolerated here. Thank you. - Lucky 6.9 22:48, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How was I spamming? I would never do that intentionally.-ACNE WASH

I'm referring to the article on the modeling agency. It was coming off like a blatant ad which is why it was deleted several times. Looking at your edit history soon afterwards, I see that your intentions are good. I was going to roll back the comment just prior to your contacting me. - Lucky 6.9 23:06, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable Fair Use Image

[edit]

Hi! You recently uploaded Image:Ae335d2c0b.jpg with an incorrect license. I have added the correct license, but believe that this image fails Wikipedia's first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a free image might reasonably be found or created that adequately provides the same information. If you wish to dispute this, you are welcome to comment on the image's talk page. Happy editing! -- PageantUpdatertalk | contribs | esperanza 05:51, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Imani Parks, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at Talk:Imani Parks. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria.

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Acne Wash! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but please note that the link you added in is on my spam blacklist and should not be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an Imageshack or Photobucket image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was genuine spam, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 20:23, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Recent article

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Melrose Bickerstaff., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Melrose Bickerstaff. is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Melrose Bickerstaff. saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. Russ (talk) 09:53, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:NatashaatFordOffice.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 00:08, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:NatashaatFordOfficeFanPicture.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:NatashaatFordOffice.jpg. The copy called Image:NatashaatFordOffice.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 00:45, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
