Wikipedia on Campus Facebook page
[edit]Hi Ace of Raves,
Thanks for being part of the Wikipedia Public Policy Initiative! I'm LiAnna Davis, the communications associate for the Initiative, and I wanted to let you know that we have a Facebook page, facebook.com/WikipediaOnCampus designed to keep students like you up to date on the latest news, events, photos, videos, and hints to help you edit. If you're on Facebook, please check it out!
Happy editing! -- Ldavis (Public Policy) (talk) 22:41, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
Mentors, and online ambassadors
[edit]hey. There's an Online Ambassador program etc., and it has a list of mentors. I'm sure some of them will check in to offer their services. Ping me or any one of them for any kind of advice or help. • Ling.Nut 02:29, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

[edit]I noticed that you're adding links to a database search engine result at georgetown.edu. But, according to the external links guideline, specifically the section on "Links normally to be avoided", it mentions one type to avoid as being #9: "Links to any search results pages..."
Have these links already been discussed on a noticeboard (such as WP:ELN or elsewhere) to gain consensus that they are appropriate despite the guideline against them? --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 19:32, 4 February 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, could you please stop adding the same link to every article related to Soviet-US relations and trade, since this falls under WP:LINKSPAM? Incidentally, the GULAG was abolished in 1960. The source obviously mistakes the Gulag for other labor before performed in confinement. Zloyvolsheb (talk) 18:18, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
I apologize. I have been assigned a tough job with a lot of links to post and am doing the best I can to follow Wikipedia codes while performing the job. So far I haven't posted any links that are irrelevant to the wikipedia page topics, but I'll try to avoid being as spammy in the near future. Ace of Raves (talk) 18:53, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Peter Krogh Talk page
[edit]Hey, just FYI the Peter F. Krogh Talk page was redirecting to the Cleveland Sight Center Talk page; not sure what caused that but I removed the redirect. AlbinoFlea (talk) 14:23, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
