I'm not familiar enough with the site to reply, why did you revert? i live in Ottawa and my edit is a fact. -- AceGT09 18:19, 4 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome! Wilkommen! Welkom! Bienvenue! Benvenuti! ようこそ! Välkommen! Witamy! Bem-vindo(a)! ¡Bienvenido!

Hello there AceGT09, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We're glad to have you in our community! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Feel free to drop me a question on my talk page.

If you need help (which I can’t answer), put {{helpme}} on your talk page. It is also a good idea to explain what your problem on Wikipedia is, it helps you and your helper!

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If another Wikipedian criticizes what you have done check what Wikipedia is not to avoid this happening again/ever. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.

You can help improve the articles listed below! This list updates frequently, so check back here for more tasks to try. (See Wikipedia:Maintenance or the Task Center for further information.)

Help counter systemic bias by creating new articles on important women.

Help improve popular pages, especially those of low quality.

Need a tip?

How to provide a Google search in a link

Here is an example of a link which activates a Google search: Tip of the day, on Wikipedia

It was built using this wikilink:
[[google:"Tip of the day"+site:en.wikipedia.org|Tip of the day, on Wikipedia]]

Sometimes it is useful to place a link to a Google search directly in a discussion. You can also use links to predefine an entire search session, and then use a tool like WP:LINKY to open the searches all at once into separate web browser tabs.

To add this auto-updating template to your user page, use {{totd}}

Have a fun time editing!

granted i'm new at article writing/editing, but it's not the kind of thing that's recorded, it's simply a fact of the local culture. -- AceGT09

Your Edit

[edit]

I saw your edit. Please justify this statement with evidence or reasearch about the fact that people do often smoke Marijuana. Either back it up with written references or with photos, if you have any (although the Candadian Law Enforcement would prefer these!) Also, to reply to users, please click on their signature, which will look like this:

User name link 18:35, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

Click on the link, and then on "discussion" (top of page), then click on the + sign at the top, and then add a new message.

Is that all right?

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. While the Wikipedia community appreciates your obvious efforts to increase the amount of information on the site, we'd like to point out our policy against original research and for citing sources for the information you provide. This increases the reputation of Wikipedia as a whole and aids in checking the factuality of that article. — getcrunk what?! 18:42, 4 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

ok, i'll accept that. -- AceGT09
