Hey there. I've been working on that article you created, and I had some questions about two of the sources you cited:
- Do you have a link to the Library of Congress page about the Negro National Business League? If I could see the page it'd help me cite specific sentences to it.
- The NewsBank link you provided for the May 7, 1920 edition of the paper requires a subscription—I can't access it, and so again, I don't know where/how I should cite it. Can you tell me what it says, generally? What you used it for?
- I couldn't find much support for the "Ownership" and "Coverage" sections in the sources you'd already put. If it turns out those two at the bottom don't support those sections, could you tell me where you got that information?

DYK for The Negro Star
[edit]On 29 May 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article The Negro Star, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Hollie Sims moved his newspaper, The Negro Star, from Mississippi to Kansas following local anger over his tribute to the black soldiers of World War I? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/The Negro Star. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
