[edit]Hello, I'm C.Fred. I noticed that you made a change to an article, List of Jews in sports, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 20:54, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
Wikipedia articles are not reliable sources to be used for other articles...and even so, where in the World record progression 200 metres individual medley article does it say anything about Reingold's religion or heritage? —C.Fred (talk) 21:28, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
- I am beginning to understand, would we be able to use me as a reference as Archivist for a Swimming South Africa where our records show "religion : Jewish"— Preceding unsigned comment added by Accuratehistory101 (talk • contribs) (message left at User talk:C.Fred)
- No, you cannot use yourself as a reference; Wikipedia does not allow original research. The information would have to come from a published source.
- Also, if you wish to reply, please reply here, below my message. It keeps the conversation in one place, and your user talk page is on my Watchlist, so I'll see that you've replied. —C.Fred (talk) 21:56, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
