Hi Acaramoy, thanks for the offer. I've already managed to get permission for the image from the owner, using Google to translate my request. You can see the image at Pagaruyung Kingdom. (Caniago 06:47, 4 April 2007 (UTC))[reply]

New collaboration...

Hello everybody. I’ve updated the current Indonesia collaboration to > > > Central Java < < <

This article’s not in a very good condition but such a significant part of Indonesia, the cultural heart of the Javanese. Please contribute! Thanks to all those contributed to the previous collaboration Sidoarjo mud flow particularly Indon.

The next collaboration...

For the next collaboration in a fortnight, I’d like to try something different. Let’s chose a stub rather than an already well-developed article. Here is a list of Indonesian stubs to choose (there’s two pages). Please check the article's importance rating – let's chose an important and significant article that will appeal to a broad range of people. Please do not choose an obscure and/or esoteric topic that is not very important. Please place your nomination here.

Any questions, please let me know. Kind regards --Merbabu 05:00, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

About Fauna of Indonesia

[edit]

Hey man how are you going? Firstly thanks for improving the article. Sorry I haven't been editing lately because next week I'm having exams. Anyway, can you also add citations when you add new important stuff? It'll just make all of us easier later on. Thanks again - Imoeng 10:16, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

yeah - i forgot about the collab being so focussed on Indonesia. Nice going. I should have promoted it more but ran out of time - normally I 'spam' every Indonesia project member. Very nice work. Merbabu 08:44, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Indonesia fortnightly collaboration = Jakarta

[edit]

Hello there Acaramoy~enwiki, this week's Indonesia project collaboration is > > > Jakarta < < <. Please contribute. The most important thing is to find reliable references for all existing information, and for any new info added.

Also, please help nominate an article for the next collaboration at the collab nomination page. An underdeveloped or stub article is preferred over a long and developed article. Please nominate up to two articles. any questions, please let me know. Kind regards and happy editing. --Merbabu 11:33, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Indonesian literature

[edit]

Hello Acaramoy,

Congratulations on starting the article on Indonesian literature. In my opinion, it is a very useful subject and you have planned it very lucidly. I should like to assist, if you don't mind, but I have a question about planning, which I have phrased on the Discussion Page. Essentially, my question is this: would it be best to write a very long and comprehensive article, or might it be a good idea to deal with the various generations in separate articles, placing summaries in your main article? Your opinion would be very much appreciated! Thank you, Bessel Dekker 16:10, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Science lovers wanted!
Hi! I'm serving as the wikipedian-in-residence at the Smithsonian Institution Archives until June! One of my goals as resident, is to work with Wikipedians and staff to improve content on Wikipedia about people who have collections held in the Archives - most of these are scientists who held roles within the Smithsonian and/or federal government. I thought you might like to participate since you are interested in the sciences! Sign up to participate here and dive into articles needing expansion and creation on our to-do list. Feel free to make a request for images or materials at the request page, and of course, if you share your successes at the outcomes page you will receive the SIA barnstar! Thanks for your interest, and I look forward to your participation! Sarah (talk) 01:09, 18 April 2012 (UTC)|}[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant!
