Concerns over the accuracy of this page
[edit]The individual on this page is clearly using it for self-promotion purposes, as detailed references provided in the former talk page indicate clearly. Without wishing to bias against rights of personal expression, claims made about individuals on Wikipedia, whether in User pages or articles, should be verifiable - especially if an individual is using these resources to ground claims of ecclesiastical authority.
It seems necessary re-instate the previous edits, which provide thorough references and questions about the verifiability of the claims made here. Concerned Reader 46 (talk) 22:10, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
- If you think that the page violates policy, then feel free to tag it accordingly. I'd suggest you read up on WP:Userpages first, as this sets out the guidelines on what may or may not be included in your userpage. In particular, note that different standards of verifiability apply to articles than to userpage. If, after you've read the policies, you think it applicable, mark it for speedy deletion, or propose it for deletion, to see if other editors or admins agree with you.
- Reformatting the text is not the solution - refactoring someone else's comments on any talk page, or editing without consent to someone else's user page, constitutes vandalim, and will be dealt with accordingly. I would therefore suggest that you do not reinstate the previous edits, but
- All of your edits are to this one page, which does lead me to ask "Why do you care, exactly?" gb (t, c) 09:01, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
