[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. - Can I ask how I made unconstructive edits to Wikipedia? The page says to remove external links to make it less advertisement and I wanted to update the history the Seattle Times article? Thanks! AbigailFason (talk) 18:29, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
- References are not the same as external links. You deleted references from the article. The references should remain in the article, to indicate where the items can be verified. —C.Fred (talk) 18:34, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
Thank you C.Fred for your reply. How can I contribute to the company's wikipedia page, so that the following banners might be removed: "A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject. It may require cleanup to comply with Wikipedia's content policies, particularly neutral point of view. Please discuss further on the talk page. (December 2011) This article may be written like an advertisement. Please help improve it by rewriting promotional content from a neutral point of view and removing any inappropriate external links. (December 2011). Many Thanks! (AbigailFason (talk) 18:38, 22 December 2011 (UTC)).
I read over the page and it appears to be very neutral, so I moved to Clean Up. When I looked at the clean up, and there is nothing listed for Classical Movements. I tried to add the history to Blue Heart travel by adding an article from Seattle Times saying that it was one of the first touring companies to arrange tours to Croatia and the post was immediately taken down...please advise! Thank you very much

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Classical Movements, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. Sparthorse (talk) 19:40, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
Sparthorse, I was given permission to taken these banners down by editor PiRSquared in the WikipediaHelpChatRoom. I am an editor of International Travel News (AbigailFason (talk) 19:44, 22 December 2011 (UTC))
Conflict of interest tags
[edit]It is time for you to stop removing the conflict of interest tag from the Classical Movements article. Two editors associated with the company, yourself and Jessica, have been major contributors to the article. You should not be editing the article at all, let alone trying to whitewash the truth about your editing. That tag should stay on the article. Removing it is a deliberate attempt to hide legitimate concerns about the neutrality of the article. Continuing to disrupt the functioning of Wikipedia in this way will likely lead to you being blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please consider this your final warning. Thanks, Sparthorse (talk) 20:00, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
Sparthorse, I was given permission to taken both of the banners down by editor PiRSquared in the WikipediaHelpChatRoom; I am updating the history of this organization. I am sorry but I do not see the harm in updating the history of this concert touring company (AbigailFason (talk) 20:06, 22 December 2011 (UTC)).
- I don't know what the "WikipediaHelpChatRoom" is. Nor do I see any edits from you or User:PiRSquared or User:PiRSquared17 that show you talking with him. Can you point me specifically to the conversation where User:PiRSquared17 gave you permission? The harm you are causing is this: the article has been edited by two people who have major conflicts of interest. The tag allows readers of the article to take that into account before relying on the information it contains. Removing the tag is clearly a problem since it misleads readers about the conflict of interest problem with the article. It appears you are acting in the interests of Classical Movements and not the readers of Wikipedia. That is unacceptable. Sparthorse (talk) 20:34, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
Sparthorse, I appreciate your honest answer. But, the chat is a legit option that can be logged in above help window. I have tried to contribute to this article, so JessicaZaluzeCM is not the only contributer but then it gets taken down. I had no choice but to go to this help chat and there I spoke to PiRSquared17 and DragonFly6-7 who both showed me how to take off the template since revisions were being added. (AbigailFason (talk) 21:09, 22 December 2011 (UTC)).
Sockpuppetry case
[edit]Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/JessicaZaluzecCM for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. Sparthorse (talk) 20:40, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
Blocked
[edit]I have blocked your account indefinitely as you are using this account to evade a block on User:JessicaZaluzecCM. Block evasion is not permitted for obvious reasons; neither is deceiving the community. When you entered the IRC help channel earlier, you claimed you did not know Jessica, and yet you're using the same computer that account used. Further, using Wikipedia for promotional purposes is not allowed.
You may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}}
below . Please note that further attempts to evade your block(s) will greatly impede any effort to be legitimately unblocked; while blocked, you are only permitted to edit your user talk page for the purposes of requesting unblocking. Hersfold (t/a/c) 20:50, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
Good Morning. I am wondering if this block can be lifted so I can work on the article and make it neutral and cite souces as clean up recomends. When I left it, I was told by the online chat help that I can take down the banner as I edit it. Thank you. (AbigailFason (talk) 15:38, 9 January 2012 (UTC))

Request reason:
need to clean up article to make it neutral
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Favonian (talk) 15:51, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
A word of advice
[edit]Did you tell the person in the Help chat room that you work for the company you were writing about? If you had, I very much doubt that they would have "given permission" for you to remove the Conflict of Interest tag from the article. If you did tell them, then their advice was wrong.
This sort of stuff doesn't help your case. Twice today (shortly before you made this unblock request), an IP based in the same location as your company removed the COI tag with no edit summary and no improvement to the article, exactly what you had repeatedly done in December. I have now removed the remaining hype and the COI tag. The "citation needed" tags remain.
Have you read Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations? If not, please do so now. If you are ever unblocked, you should not touch that article, nor should any of your colleagues. Any improvements you wish to make should be added to the article's talk page for non-involved editors to add to the article if they are appropriate. I also have your own talk page on watch. If you have references you wish to add while you are blocked, you may post them here, and I'll add them to the article if they are appropriate, i.e. from reliable sources independent from your company. Good Morning Voceditenore: the following are edits and references I would like to add to the Classical Movements Wikipedia page to correct the citations needed.
Introduction EDITS
Classical Movements (Alexandria, VA) is a concert touring company, specializing in concert and travel arrangements for orchestras and choruses. Since its beginning in 1992, Classical Movements has established four choral festivals around the world. These countries include: South Africa (Ihlombe! South African Choral Festival) http://tokologosafaris.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=56&Itemid=72 South America (Melodia! South American Music Festival), http://www.thesingerlink.com/events/melodia-south-american-musicVienna, Salzburg, and Prague (Rhapsody! Children’s Music Festival), http://opusosm.com/2011/07/18/monday-july-18-2001-kids-opera/ and its latest in the USA (Serenade! Washington D.C. Choral Festival).[3] These festivals present a people-to-people exchange for international children and adult choruses from all over the world.
In 2011, Classical Movements began celebrating its 20th year, arranging tours on 6 continents in 135 countries for over 42,000 clients.[4][Third-party source needed] There are currently no published articles about this fact since it is relatively new news, but the following is a 1994 article that talks about the company to verify that it has been around for at least 18 years. Would it suffice: http://articles.philly.com/1994-05-15/travel/25828276_1_largest-cruise-ship-russian-space-royal-odyssey The Company was also recognized as a certified incorporation in 1992, but this certificate is only available in print form.

Thank you for your assistance. Best, (AbigailFason (talk) 14:33, 12 January 2012 (UTC)).
- I've added some of these to the article, two of them are obvious advertisments and do not count at reliable third party sources. I also added another reliable source from a news archive to which I have a subscription. I removed the entire sentence "In 2011, Classical Movements began celebrating its 20th year, arranging tours on 6 continents in 135 countries for over 42,000 clients"—it's PR hype and unreferenceable apart from the "135 countries" (now in the History section). That's probably the best you can hope for in this article. I'll not be doing any more work on it. Voceditenore (talk) 17:35, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
Thank you very much, Voceditenore. Could you remove the "</ref>" in the first sentence? Then it will be complete. Best Regards, (AbigailFason (talk) 17:52, 12 January 2012 (UTC))
