Userfied your draft

[edit]

Just letting you know, I moved the article you were working on in your user page to a sub-page: User:Abigail48/Clive Matson. You may continue working on it there. ~Amatulić (talk) 21:49, 9 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

does this work for where you'd like me to communicate? there were no questions since what is that........you don't need to.......would need to look back to see what those letters were & what they meant which I still didn't understand. & I don't understand the specs here above. As always I appreciate the quick reply, Amatulic.208.64.74.139 (talk) 23:49, 13 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I never understand the leave this page stay on this page stuff. I'm always afraid to leave this page then.208.64.74.139 (talk) 23:49, 13 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The "leave this page" message appears if you are editing a page and you try to go somewhere else (by clicking on something) without saving the page first. If you elect to leave the page, you will lose any changes you made to it. ~Amatulić (talk) 17:16, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Referencing

[edit]

OK, now that you have associated some sentences to your references, I made some changes to demonstrate how it's done.

If you edit the "References" section, you will see that I have enclosed each of your references with tags, so they look like this in the editing window:

<ref name=xyz>your reference goes here</ref>

What that does is assign the arbitrary name "xyz" to your reference. You would then use the name "xyz" to link the reference to a sentence in the article, like this:

This is a sentence in the article<ref name=xyz />

Note that the ref tag on a sentence ends with a slash after the name.

If you look at your "Publications" section, you will see that I did this for you. You'll also see in the References section that some references are not yet linked to any sentences.

I hope this helps. ~Amatulić (talk) 17:16, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
