- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of S Srikanta, and it appears to include material copied directly from https://in.linkedin.com/pub/s-srikanta/20/8a7/597.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Speedy deletion nomination of S Srikanta
[edit]Hello Abhishekkaushal89,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged S Srikanta for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. MarkYabloko 09:28, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
Added strike to reflect removal of speedy deletion tag due to significant changes to it by the author. ---MarkYabloko 13:11, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
Speedy deletion tag Comment
[edit]You CAN contest speedy deletion, but you CAN NOT remove the tags!
Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. MarkYabloko 11:10, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
P.S.: That doesn't mean that you should add it, or re-add it again yourself! MarkYabloko 12:13, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
In response to your message on my talk page, you ARE permitted to remove the Proposed deletion tag on S Srikanta yourself. While a page creator may not remove a Speedy deletion tag, he/she may remove a Proposed deletion tag at will. However, I would strongly suggest if you remove the tag, you state your reason for doing so in your edit summary for that edit. Thanks. Safiel (talk) 18:18, 24 November 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with S Srikanta. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. G. Singh talk 17:48, 26 November 2015 (UTC)
- @GSS-1987: The author of an article can remove PRODs. You'll need to nominate the article at WP:AFD if you feel it should be deleted. --NeilN talk to me 20:25, 26 November 2015 (UTC)
