Welcome to Wikipedia!

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; however, please remember the essential rule of respecting copyrights. Edits to Wikipedia, such as your edit to the page Nahid Mirza, may not contain material from copyrighted sources unless used with permission. It is almost never okay to copy extensive text out of a book or website and paste it into a Wikipedia article with little or no alteration, though you can clearly and briefly quote copyrighted text in the right circumstances. Content that does not comply with this legal rule must be removed. For more information on this, see:

If you still have questions, there is the Teahouse, or you can click here to ask a question on your talk page and someone will be along to answer it shortly. As you get started, you may find the pages below to be helpful.

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! DanCherek (talk) 20:12, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Same issues with Amirteymour Kalali. Please don't copy text from elsewhere into Wikipedia. DanCherek (talk) 20:17, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for how to donate copyrighted content to Wikipedia, however, I am not convinced that it would be useable here - see in particular WP:NPOV. Victor Schmidt (talk) 06:57, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Please do not log out to restore copyright violations that have been removed. DanCherek (talk) 21:47, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright problem icon Your edit to Nahid Mirza has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Nahid Mirza. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. DanCherek (talk) 07:12, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently making disruptive edits.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 12:14, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Concerns over article content

[edit]

Dear all,

I am really surprised by Ohnoitsjamie and DanCherek constantly reverting this page to a version completely false.

I am a historian specializing on Iranian/Persian history and have done as much referencing as I possibly can but these two individuals simply revert the page to a version which is not only false but also misleading.

I am not familiar with how to properly source my work but have done as much as possible and even provided the links to which most of the content is inspired from. Yet these two individuals simply revert it not knowing anything about history or the context of it.

Please help me unlock this page.

Many thanks, Abbas

As instructed in the section above, you can request an unblock after reading the guide to appealing blocks by adding the following text to your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. You did this back in September but then removed your own unblock request so it was never considered. Patrolling admin should note the extent of logged-out block evasion, refusal to discuss edits, and copyright concerns at Nahid Mirza and Amirteymour Kalali. DanCherek (talk) 15:51, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is bullshit. This person DanCherek is a fraud who wants to spread false information.
