Abstract can be organized better. Instead of using subsections/bullet points within the abstract (i.e. epidemiology: or mechanisms:, clinical presentations:, etc), maybe incorporating epidemiology in a paragraph, separating the mechanisms, adding clinical presentation in the symptoms section may be a good idea. Also, the recent research section is not present in this article.

Abbey ekong Overall, the information provided is very informative, understandable and thorough. You could organize it in a way that is easier to understanding by using more bullet points, lists, and bold lettering to help guide the reader. Also be sure to define uncommon terms (apex, pulp, cystectomy, cystomy, necrotic) these terms are not common to everyone and can be hyperlinked in article with definitions. Diagnosis could also be elaborated on as it is in list format currently, it seems that you are still working on it though. There is no recent research section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aekong2011 (talkcontribs) 16:54, 14 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, this is very informative and you’re off to a great start regarding obtaining the information. However I think this could be organized better. The abstract could be more vague and a lot of that information would fit better into the mechanism section. For the symptoms section you just mentioned secondary symptoms, but are there primary ones that should be mentioned as well? Dont forget to add a mechanism and recent research section. Great start though! DaniellaAmato (talk) 18:31, 14 November 2017 (UTC)Daniella Amato[reply]

  • Do not quote, summarize.
  • Cite your sources.
  • Abstract is much too long and not organized in a clear fashion. Focus!
  • I feel like you've taken a lot of good information and thrown it on a page without thinking about organization or how to make it clear.
  • Link to other pages.
  • What does the picture of the person (without the scan) add? If it's showing something, make that clear. If not, leave it out.
  • Remove the "empty section" markers when you add stuff.
  • Explain, avoid or link difficult terms. (What is a non-vital tooth, for example?)
  • Missing recent research.
  • Use wikipedia citing!
