Thank you.

A tag has been placed on National Tradesmen Day, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of National Tradesmen Day and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Peter E. James (talk) 20:10, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

National Tradesmen Day

[edit]

If you would like, I can restore the page to your userspace for you to work on until it meets the article guidelines. MrKIA11 (talk) 22:08, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It can be found at User:Abaker1067/National Tradesmen Day. MrKIA11 (talk) 19:55, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I made a few edits. Is the current version acceptable? Thank you for your help! Abaker1067 (talk) 14:10, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

To tell you the truth, I'm not as up to par as I'd like to be on current guidelines. Your best bet will be to request feedback from other editors. That page tells you how to do so. Let me know if you need something else. MrKIA11 (talk) 10:08, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Can you make the page public and remove the advertising "warning banner" based on my changes? Abaker1067 (talk) 20:59, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Like I said, I'm not up to par with the current guidelines, so no I cannot make that judgement. You should request feedback to determine whether it is good now. MrKIA11 (talk) 21:03, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
