Kindly include Jailer to your monitoring list. Sun Pictures has explicitly presented a well-defined cast order through the descriptions in their promotional videos, which remains consistent across all videos. Tamannah is listed 9th in the cast. However, there are attempts by fanboys to elevate her to a higher position. Similarly, certain editors are attempting to reposition Mohanlal and Shivarajkumar to bottom, citing they are cameos. Please note that these roles are credited as 2nd and 4th by the makers, and there seems to be a lack of awareness that only uncredited cameos can be placed at the bottom. This is because, being uncredited, they cannot be accommodated within the existing ordered cast and can only be mentioned at the bottom. Where is the review in this source? Could you please add it? Kailash29792 (talk) 04:51, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
- @Kailash29792 Sure, will add it. -- Ab207 (talk) 08:09, 12 August 2023 (UTC)
Note
How are you doing? I know it has been a while and nowadays, you don't edit wiki as much. But it was nice talking to you back in the day. DareshMohan (talk) 04:56, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
- Hey, DareshMohan. It's good to see you again. Been busy with work and other things lately, so couldn't spend as much time. Hopefully, I will going forward. Cheers! -- Ab207 (talk) 18:07, 7 July 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks, man. I have worked on Pattabhishekam (1999 film), Ingane Oru Nilapakshi and Uncle (2000 film) (all sort of known films, which is why I created it). Creating these articles give me immense satisfaction. Thanks for all of the love. Back in the beginning, I got a private message from a Telugu grandfather in Telugu (if only I knew Telugu). You guys are so nice. DareshMohan (talk) 18:13, 7 July 2023 (UTC)
- @DareshMohan always on duty ah xD
- Thank you for all the efforts, you deserve all the love. -- Ab207 (talk) 18:22, 7 July 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks man. Same to you, don't know if you noticed but we are lacking Telugu editors. It isn't that bad of an issue because all of the films (even new ones) are on the Telugu Wikipedia. DareshMohan (talk) 18:24, 7 July 2023 (UTC)
- True, DareshMohan. It's always good to have more people to help. -- Ab207 (talk) 07:20, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
- Yeah thankfully there are a lot of Tamil editors. Maybe AI can teach me Telugu. Also interesting question -- how many total characters does Telugu script have? (can't find it anywhere on the internet). Tamil script has 247. DareshMohan (talk) 07:39, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
- @DareshMohan Haha, happy to help.
- Telugu has 56 unique letters (16 vowels and 40 consonants). If we consider combinations like the Tamil script, the total number of characters exceeds 600.
- In addition, just like you combine vowel and consonant sounds in Tamil to make a composite character, in Telugu, we can also combine a consonant sound with another consonant sound, see Telugu_script#Articulation_of_consonants. This way, the total number shoots to several thousands!
- So the overall length of the word would be shorter in Telugu, although the characters tend to be more complex. -- Ab207 (talk) 06:07, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
- Ok, yeah lol know I remember why I gave up on reading Telugu script a while back. DareshMohan (talk) 02:32, 10 July 2023 (UTC)
- @DareshMohan Haha. It's not that difficult as it seems. Don't give up yet :) -- Ab207 (talk) 17:24, 10 July 2023 (UTC)
- Thx bro. I mean the fact that I understand some phrases in Telugu movies without looking at subtitles already gives me hope. DareshMohan (talk) 17:28, 10 July 2023 (UTC)
- "Devudu Varamandiste Ne Ninne Korukuntaale" and "Evaraina Epudaina". My dear Telugu friend, Rohit (Telugu actor) and Venkat (Telugu actor) are blue links. DareshMohan (talk) 06:51, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
- @DareshMohan yeah, they are those actors. -- Ab207 (talk) 15:04, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
- Could you help me identify which la (ల, ళ, ఴ) corresponds to which la (ல, ள, ழ)? Also for na (న, ణ) vs (ன, ண). [1], [2]. DareshMohan (talk) 17:28, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
- @DareshMohan. As per my understanding,
- ల = ல = /la/
- ళ = ள = /ḷa/
- ఴ is obsolete in Telugu, I think it corresponds to ழ /ḻa/ in Tamil
- న = ந = /na/
- ణ = ண = /ṇa/
- Unable to find the exact ன /ṉa/ in Telugu. However, there's ఙ /ṅa/ and ఞ /ña/ which are other n variants with subtle differences. -- Ab207 (talk) 18:59, 22 July 2023 (UTC)
