Question

Hi just wondering in Telugu, there seems to be so many Telugu_script#Consonant_conjuncts compared to Tamil_script#Compound_table_of_Tamil_letters. Can consonants be combined with other consonants? Like ర్య (rya) is not possible in Tamil in one letter (ர்யா). DareshMohan (talk) 09:35, 1 December 2022 (UTC)

Yes, consonants can indeed be combined with other consonants. The over length of any word might be shorter for the same reason. Hope this helps -- Ab207 (talk) 14:30, 4 December 2022 (UTC)

Telugu language

Hi just wondering if all the words in Telugu end in a vowel because I do see words ending with 'm' like some nouns? DareshMohan (talk) 09:11, 20 December 2022 (UTC)

@DareshMohan That's a good question. -m sound is considered a vowel in Telugu (denoted by 'O', eg. అం). Perhaps one could say it's like an exception to the rule. -- Ab207 (talk) 17:56, 20 December 2022 (UTC)

Articles

Hi just wondering what to do about films that only have reviews as sources and nothing else. These films all have a jeevi of Idlebrain review, a gudipoodi srihari of The Hindu review and a Full Hyderabad review. Another review like Zamin Ryot will make it easier to write an article. I will list out the film names and you can tell me if you can find any sources about the film production (Telugu sources are fine):

• Priya Nestama (2002)
• Friends (2002)
• Raghava (2002)

@DareshMohan Yeah, if you have two good sources (say newspapers like Hindu and Zamin Ryot), we are good to go. Plot is not mandatory.

Mahesh Babu and Konidela Kalyan Babu

Can you please tell from where do we have sources with birth name as Babu ? and why are we finding it extremely difficult to understand that popular names published in sources which are mirroring wikipedia articles. Babu is a nick name in Telugu as in Sobhan Babu, and Mohan Babu. Why are we illogically mixing screen names as credited in titles with birth names. Posting the same in respective talk page. Thanks. Draft:Sarigamalu

See User_talk:DareshMohan#Article_deletions. Can you find the zamin ryot review for Sarigamalu (i couldn't find it in 1994 archives, didn't check the year 1993, so it might exist)? I have just been personally attacked and might leave wikipedia.

The reason why am kind of sad is because the user does not respect that I actually spent a lot of time looking for sources/at the sources in the article. The sourcing in Draft:Sarigamalu that Fostera12 added does not even mention the film. The filmibeat source has no info in it. Did the film release in 1993 or 94? Assuming '93.

If you can find a reliable review, then that plus this, should be enough to restore the article. DareshMohan (talk) 18:55, 3 October 2022 (UTC)
